The shops on Facebook
are still in the testing phase, but some already feature “buy”
buttons that allow the entire shopping experience to occur
within Facebook — from product discovery to checkout.
For consumers, this will mean that you’ll see be a “buy”
button in some promoted mobile search results, taking you
to a page where you can buy the advertised product.
To me certain verticals can benefit from this new purchase points online, with different industries selling better on the different platforms. If they handled the payment like PayPal it would help build trust when purchasing from different vendors.
